WELCOME TO THE PLYMOUTH MEGA-RIDE PAGE
SUNDAY 13TH JUNE 2010 Welcome to the Plymouth Mega-Ride page. The Plymouth Mega Ride (PMR) is now probably the UK's largest charity motorcycle ride out with thousands of motorcyclists taking part, and this doesn't even include the pillion passengers or the vast number of spectators that show up on the day. The concept behind the mega-ride is simple, to get a load of like minded people together to raise as much money as possible for charity. This year will see the 16th Mega-Ride, and hopefully if the weather is kind to us, we will see an impressive turn out on the day. Thousands and thousands of bikers pour into Lee Mill Industrial Estate for the charity ride which will take the bikers to Marley Head and then back into the City Centre, ending up on Plymouth Hoe. The bikers are asked for a £3 charity donation at Lee Mill and the total amount donated will be spilt 50/50 between the two charities as voted for by the public. The charities for 2010 will again be chosen by YOU! Our new and exciting 2010 voting campaign is now up and running so log onto www.mega-ride.co.uk/ and choose your charity. One again, the Mega-Ride voting campaign is being made possible by Mike Pitches who designed and donated FREE OF CHARGE, the Mega-Ride website. Mike owns and runs MP Design & Media. Mike is also responsible for all Mega-Ride photography and pictures of the 2010 Mega-Ride can be purchased from his photography website - MP Photographic.
